Nepean Critical Care Echo (NCCE)
The Nepean Critical Care Echo (NCCE) represents a group of intensive care professionals based in Nepean Hospital aims to promote the use of echocardiography in the intensive care unit. NCCE organizes the Advanced Critical Care Echocardiography course which takes place in the Blue Mountain Leura every year. It also organizes short practical courses in conjunction with other organizations. For example, a one-day intensive practical transthoracic echocardiography program (the RACE course) tailored made for emergency specialist has been launched this year and the responses are overwhelmingly.
If you would like to receive one-to-one transthoracic echocardiography hands-on training, NCCE can also accommodate your needs. NCCE, in conjunction with the Cardiovascular Ultrasound Laboratory, organizes 1-2 weeks intensive hands-on programs that address your needs. If you are interested in staying with us for a short while in 2015/2016, please download the form and send it Ms Iris Ting.
Alternatively, if you have a group and do not have the time to travel, we can come to you. For details, please contact Professor Anthony McLean on Novea.Riley@health.nsw.gov.au.
